ABOUT YEMI

Opeyemi (Yemi) Ositelu is a 5th year Architectural Engineering student at Penn State University with a focus in the structural option. He will graduate with a Bachelor’s of Architectural Engineering. In May 2015, Yemi passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and will be eligible for an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) status upon graduation.

 

In the summer of 2014, Yemi had the opportunity to study abroad in China for 8 weeks, offering him first-hand experience into architectural and construction issues. He was able to travel various cities in China, spending most of his learning at the Hong Kong University (HKU) taking classes in the study of Chinese Urbanization and Architectural Design Studio. This past summer of 2015, Yemi worked for Rathgeber/Goss Associates as their structural intern.

 

During the course of a regular school semester, Yemi works as a Mathematics tutor in the Penn State Learning Center on campus. He leads guided study groups, with the intention of helping students with basic math, algebra and calculus.
